Also Jon is in his dye making outfit - he had many gallons to make for VOCA camp this weekend for the tye dye fest. Also a very filthy Tim. It's not that we like him less, it's just that he truly dislikes having his picture taken, hence the lopsided coverage...
Also... my friend Luke and I swimming in the lagoon. The sad news is I swam last night with Tim, the chemistry teacher from the high school (Luke is also a high school science teacher, wierd...). Anyway, Tim brought water testing equipment and called tonight to say "LAURA - STAY OUT OF THE WATER! DO NOT GO IN THE WATER!" He seems to have found an alarmingly high level of entero coccus (don't know how to spell it) which is a fecal coloform marker. Very bad. This could actually be a big story, and more monitoring to follow. So far, I'm still alive.

We've missed you! Thank you so much for coming back!
We love looking at all the pictures, but you really got one great one of Ani laughing.
Shouldn't the city post a "health" warning sign at the lagoon?
Love,
Sam and Barbara
Yuck, about the lagoon. Keep testing it. Too bad that it is a mess. I wonder what sewer is emptying into it? Or is it the birds or the sea lions???
Great pictures!
love,
Kay
