Tim's First Salmon

Tim caught a salmon today at Big Creek. My dad has already caught 4, and it permanently smells like fish now...here are some pictures.

Good News

Hi all! I just want to report the good news about our friend Madeline Robbins. She had a brain MRI and full body scan yesterday and the news was much better than anticipated (I am editing an earlier post right now). It looks like there may be inactivity with existing tumors in her brain and the body scan showed some healing of bones. She will start kindergarten in two weeks! Out here we are all very very very very happy.

Swimming in Alderbrook!

Well since the Pool is closed for a month or so, Laura descided to swim the alderbrook lagoon! It was an amazingly hot day here and early afternoon high tide. Ani and I were in the Canoe and Tim was in the Kyak and Laura swam VERY far!!! she was in the water for about 45 minute or longer. It is hard to see, but Laura swam to the farther net shed or Barn out over the water and BACK!!! Then we all went out to the tressle and I, JON, Jumped in from the very top bar. Ani snapped the great shot. It is beautiful and sunny here. We hit the beach yesterday and Alderbrook lagoon today. The Alderbrook Lagoon is the body of water just infront of our house! A New Baby

Tim has a new Bearded Dragon Lizard that is 1 month old. He loves Crickets and water and will climb right up on us. His name is "Z"!!!

It's Soccer Season!

Well, it's begun. Our first tournament was this weekend. Three games - 2 big losses (slaughters actually) yesterday and a nice 3-0 win by our Osprey today in our last game. Ani is loving it, the girls are a great group. Of course we played through one major rain event yesterday, what would oregon coast soccer be without everyone totally soaked? Here is Tim and the big alien dude!! Also a wild horse in Teddy Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota. Tim and I had an amazing time on the way back! Home feel so good!!! Tons of stuff to do... Jon out

The Bison is on the eastern most corner of North Dakota; Space Alians resteraunt was also in North Dekota and it was so much fun! There was even a 10 foot tall alien dude walking around!!! The Cowboy was in Western North Dakota in the town on the edge of Teddy Roosevelt National Park; Tim is swimming in our magic swimming spot we found in Montanaand so is the giant dandy lion...

There photos are pretty self explainitory. The batmobile was on a little tiny road accross the upper penninsula in Michigan.
