gluten free in astoria

Rumor had it at the pool this morning that Blue Scorcher was doing gluten free pastries on Fridays now. Lo and behold I enjoyed my post-swim coffee with a yummy cinnamon roll, as it should be... I was trying to upload band concert pictures of Tim but they didn't want to load so I'll try another time.

I got an early birthday present so I'd have it for Costa Rica. Here are some of our efforts of last night and today.

Here are some pictures of the weekend. Tim made several scuptures with his Drummel tool and hot melt glue. Ani skied on Saturday at Mt. Hood in her new jacket. I made a fire along with cleaning the garage. Laura mostly feels better but still a bit yicky.

Well, I (Mom) am in the last frantic travel planning stages for our journey to Costa Rica. I have mapped out a plan that I think will be awesome and as of today it is all reserved and mostly paid for! I have enjoyed researching and being the travel and rental agent and decision maker; however, perhaps someone else will want to plan the next trip. I only hope I did everything right!!! Ani and Tim are most excited for the tree house...

P.S. Lonely Planet is the most useful travel book ever. I am hooked.
