Ani just called from Rainier - 6:01 in the 1500, beating her personal best of 6:03 but she is incredibly annoyed that she didn't break 6 seconds. Poor poor Ani!
Ani, Three cheers! I have been waiting until I thought that you would get gome. It is 6:16 your time and I just got the news flash from your Mom about your amazing time: 6 minutes and 1 second. I think that is amazing. I am incredibly happy when I ride my bike at 6 miles in 45 minutes. I have now done 6 miles in 48 minutes or 8 minutes to the mile. Before we leave for Amsterdam, I am hoping to get up to 10 miles in an hour, which would be 6 minute miles on a bike. I have a long way to catch you running!!
