This is Ani.
Right now, my dad and I are up at Tom and Paula Ascher's house. We'll leave tomorrow after another day of skiing, and the skiing is great!
Today, the powder on Mt. Hood went up above our knees! Once, my dad was in powder up to his chest. It was amazing skiing conditions. It was snowing all day - sometimes hard and sometimes just lightly. I skied into a big snowbank once and did a face plant into the powder and lost both skis and poles once. It took me about 10 minutes to find both my skis and poles. That's how deep it was!
We're looking forward to another awesome day of skiing tomorrow, but on Monday we have to go back to school - it's the end of spring break.

Hi all,
I hope that there are some pictures of skiing on Mt. Hood. That was some fall you described Ani - loosing your skies for 10 minutes.
I wish I could ski in that kind of powder. It sure has been a snowy winter everywhere!
We're having a quiet Sunday. Made supper for Boppa and Barbie and the Mills family on Friday night and had friends over for last night - so a quiet day here is welcome.
Michelle Mills is back from her world travels of 18 months, looking terrific. She is now a certified yoga teacher!
love, Gran
Hi, Ani...
We're glad you had a great time, despite having trouble locating your skis and pole. Did you ever begin to worry that you wouldn't find your skis and poles? If that happened, what would you have done to get to the end of the ski run? Wow...
Anyway, it all worked out well.
Love,
Nana and Papa
